This homemade Cream of Chicken Soup recipe made with basic ingredients is an essential in so many delicious dishes. You will turn to this recipe time and again.

1 lb. bones

1 lb. of mixed meats (chicken, pork, mutton)

6-8 pints of water

¼ cup boiled chopped chicken per portion

4 eggs

2-3 teaspoons cornflour

1 lb. mix of Carrots, Onions, Celery and Moong beans

Salt to taste


Boil all ingredients for stock.

Simmer for 30 Minutes.

Strain and set aside

Chop boiled chicken and whisk eggs.

Dissolve cornflour with a little water.

Heat stock and add cornflour and bring to boil. (Reduce heat)

Pour beaten egg in a steady stream stirring all the while.

Remove from fire, add chicken and add salt according to your taste and serve.
